Homemade Garlic Bread

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Garlic Butter:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
    • Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Prepare the Bread:
    • Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally.
    • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Bake the Garlic Bread:
    • Place the bread halves, buttered side up, on a baking sheet.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.
    • Slice into individual pieces and serve warm.
