Nutty Chocolate Fudge

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or your choice)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan:
    • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving some overhang on the sides to lift the fudge out easily. Grease the foil with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add Vanilla and Nuts:
    • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts. Mix until the nuts are evenly distributed throughout the chocolate mixture.
  4. Pour into Pan:
    • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm.
  6. Cut and Serve:
    • Once the fudge is set, lift it out of the pan using the foil overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
