Perfect Prime Rib
I love this method of grilling ribs. It’s almost foolproof, but there are several factors to consider when preparing the perfect rib roast.
Ingredients:
1 boneless or boneless rib roast (any size)
garlic powder
salt
pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 550°F.
Rub with salt, pepper and garlic powder and apply to the meat. Place the meat, fat side up, in a shallow roasting pan.Roast at 550° for 5 minutes per pound for RARE or 6 minutes per pound for MEDIUM and 7 minutes per pound for WELL DONE.
At the end of the cooking time, turn off the oven and DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR FOR TWO HOURS.
After 2 hours, remove the meat from the oven to cut; It always comes out perfect.
It works the same way with roasts. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.Enjoy!
