My family’s excitement: A variation of oatmeal and zucchini – better than pizza!

Step 1: Preparation of the zucchini

Grate the zucchini and place in a sieve.
Sprinkle the grated zucchini with a little salt and let it rest for about 10 minutes. This will help drain excess juice from the zucchini.

After 10 minutes, we squeeze the grated zucchini well to remove as much juice as possible.Step 2: Mix ingredients

In a bowl, mix the drained zucchini, oat flakes, grated cheese, eggs, pepper and chopped chives.

Mix all the ingredients together until everything is well mixed. You will find that the mixture creates a delicious, cheesy mixture.

Step 3: Bake to perfection

Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).
Place the zucchini mixture in a baking dish and distribute evenly.Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the inside is perfectly cooked.

After 20 minutes we take the mold out of the oven and cover it. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes to ensure the top is nicely browned and crispy.
