Recipe for rice paper dumplings
Set these out for the kids during game night and they were eaten in 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound ground meat of your choice (beef, pork, chicken or turkey)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (extra for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil

12 -16 rice paper wrappers
Warm water for rice paper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Start with a clean workspace and a happy heart. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onions, garlic, carrots and parsley. Season generously with salt and pepper, then stir in soy sauce and sesame oil until well combined.

Soften a rice paper wrapper in warm water until pliable, about 10-15 seconds. Lay it flat and place a portion of the meat mixture in the center.Fold the wrapper and roll it tightly around the filling.
Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the dough balls until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and with side dishes of your choice.
