Savory Beef and Cheese Rolls
Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika or chili powder (optional for spice)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 2 large flour tortillas or thin flatbread
For Topping:
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Filling:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add the ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Mix in the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and fresh parsley or green onions.
2. Assemble the Rolls:
- Place the tortillas or flatbread on a clean surface.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over each tortilla, leaving a small border.
- Roll the tortillas tightly, like a log (as seen in the image).
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
3. Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sprinkle the tops of the rolls with additional shredded cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
4. Serve:

- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley or green onions.
- Slice into pieces or serve whole.
Tips:
- You can add a layer of tomato sauce or marinara before rolling for extra flavor.
