Sloppy Joe Garlic Bread

Ingredients:
1 frozen garlic bread (10 ounces), thawed
1 pound lean ground beef
½ cup chopped onion

2 cups shredded cheese (Colby Jack recommended)
1 (15 ounces). ) can of sloppy joe sauce
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to a comfortable 190°C (375°F).
In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat and gently fry the chopped onion until it becomes soft and translucent.
Add the minced meat to the pan and fry until it takes on a deep brown color. If necessary, drain excess fat.Add the sloppy joe sauce, a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper to the meat and simmer until the flavors meld.
In the meantime, carefully divide the thawed garlic bread into two halves and place them spread out on a baking tray.
Carefully serve the sloppy joe mixture over each garlic bread half and garnish with a generous sprinkling of grated cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and forms a bubbly golden layer.
