Triple Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
1 quart vegetable oil, for frying
4 ⅓ cups flour, sifted
1 ½ teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper powder
½ teaspoon spicy chicken
1 ½ cup beer or to taste (plus more if very large)
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
Directions:
Start by gathering all of your ingredients .
Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium-sized bowl, mix 3 cups of flour with garlic salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, paprika and chicken seasoning.
In a separate bowl, stir 1/2 cup beer with remaining 1/3 cup egg yolk, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. If battery life is too long, replace the link with more alcohol.
Easy water chicken pieces. Dip each piece into the flour mixture first, shake off the excess and add to the dough. Dip into flour mixture again to double coat.
Carefully lower the chicken pieces into the hot oil in pieces, being careful not to overcook.
Fry the chicken until cooked and nicely browned. This takes approximately 15 to 18 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should register 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
Place the cooked chicken on a paper-lined plate to remove excess oil.
