Bake rather than fry for a simple, healthy meal
Ingredients Ingredients:
Good onions – yellow, white or red for every task. Regular sugar helps them caramelize better.
Cheddar Cheese – tangy and good for maximum flavor! Other cheeses, like Pepper Jack, are also surprisingly delicious.
Ranch Spice – for the ranch flavor we all crave. For a different flavor, try Cajun, Italian or taco seasoning.
Marinara sauce or dipping sauce – these shrimp need butter and cream to taste even better! To make garlic soup:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and lightly grease them. This will cause the cheese particles to slide right off.
Cut the onion into very small pieces, about 1/4 of its width. You need 16 pieces in total.
Spread 16 small mounds of crumbled cheese onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them a few inches apart.
Place the onion on top of the cheese and sprinkle with herbs (or herb mixture).
Cook for 11-13 minutes, keeping an eye on them during the last few minutes to ensure they do not burn. They prepare for a simple and easy time.

Let them cool for 5 minutes before trying to remove them from the paper. They will crack more as they cool.
Serve hot with marinara, ranch, or any of your favorite sauces!
Tips for best results:
Use a very sharp knife or mandolin to slice the onion thinly and evenly. This helps them stay lacy and fresh.
Enjoy cheese off the shelf instead of using pre-melted rinds.
Be careful when cooking, they can burn quickly!
Let the cooked baskets cool for a few minutes before removing them so they have time to harden.
Double because these go fast! It’s easy to do more.
