Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Pastries:
    • Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
    • Roll each triangle into a ball and then flatten into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.
    • Place the dough circles on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:
    • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Danish Pastries:
    • Spread a small amount of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle.
    • Spoon a tablespoon of cherry pie filling over the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Bake the Pastries:
