MAID-RITE SLIDER
INGREDIENTS
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1/2 small white onion, chopped
• 1 beef bouillon cube
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
• 12 pack slider rolls
• 1/3 cup cucumber slices
• 6 slices American cheese
FOR THE BUTTER SAUCE:
• 1/2 cup melted butter
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
How to Make Maid-Rite Sliders
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a large skillet, add the ground beef and onions over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef, separating the meat well as it cooks.
3.If necessary, drain the fat and then add the bouillon cube, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the liquid has evaporated.
4. Place the bun bases in a baking dish and cover with the meat mixture. Place the cucumbers on top, followed by the cheese slices, and cover with the bun tops.5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce and spread over the buns.
6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Enjoy
