 Ingredients

 FOR THE STEAKS:

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (preferably mix 80/20 for flavor and juiciness)
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

 FOR THE SAUCE:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sliced ​​mushrooms (garlic mushrooms or cremini work well)
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced ​​
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
