Strawberry vanilla cake

Ingredients:
Two 21-ounce cans of strawberry pie filling
One 16-ounce package of white cake mix
½ cup salted butter, melted

½ cup sliced sliced strawberries, for garnish (optional)
Fresh whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Crock-Pot: First, lightly grease the inside of your Crock-Pot. Pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Strawberry Filling Layers: Pour the strawberry pie filling into the bottom of the Crock-Pot, spreading it out to create an even layer.

Mix the cake topping: In a bowl, mix the white cake mix with the melted butter. Stir the mixture until the butter is completely absorbed and the cake mix is crumbly.Assemble the cake: Gently pour the crumbly cake mix over the strawberry filling in the Crock-Pot, spreading it evenly to completely cover the filling.
Bake the cake: Cover the Crock-Pot with the lid and bake on high power for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Check if the cake is cooked by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake. It should come out clean. Then turn the slow cooker down and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
Decorate and serve: Once cooked, cover the Crock-Pot and, if desired, decorate the top of the cake with sliced strawberries.Serve the cake warm in individual bowls and top with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra delicious touch.
Pro Tips:
If strawberries are not available, feel free to experiment with different types of fresh berries on the cake. Blueberries, raspberries or blackberries are excellent alternatives.
