Apple Fritter Bites

These Apple Fritter Bites are truly life-changing summer treats that I had to share with you today.

Packed with real apple flavor, like airy soft fries, and slathered in a delicious apple sauce.

Going back for a few seconds (or a third) might do you good because these are baked rather than fried!

I first discovered these little nuggets of perfection when my good friend Baker Mama Courtney sent me a copy of her new cookbook, Brilliant Bites.

I had to make this as soon as I saw the title of the recipe.

Can’t think of the most delicious summer dishes? Is fresh apple cider glazing over warm apple pie crust? Seriously, do it!

This is, let me put it this way, as good as apple peels get.

Soft fresh apple slices are added to this delicious dish.

The glass is sweet and sour and gives you that special place that is so easy.

Finally the best? You can feel comfortable eating some because they are baked rather than fried. If you’re like me, the whole class! 97 9
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200°C and spray the baking tray with non-stick spray.

Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon into a medium bowl.

Whisk the sugar and melted butter in a large bowl. Beat apples, vanilla and eggs until smooth.

Beat until combined and add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Very carefully add the roasted apples.

Pour 1 tablespoon of the dough onto the baking tray and place it a few centimeters apart.

After cooking for ten minutes, remove it from the oven and turn on the grill.

For the glaze, beat the icing sugar and apple juice or cider until fluffy.

While pushing the pastries upwards, allow some of the sauce to run off the hot sides. Cook, rotating the pan frequently, for two to four minutes, or until the glaze begins to bubble and caramelize.

Remove from the oven and brush the tops of the pastries with the remaining glaze.

Let the cream harden for about fifteen minutes before serving.
