Crispy Cheese Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup bread crumbs (plus extra for coating)
 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 2 eggs (beaten)
 - 1/4 cup finely chopped herbs (parsley or chives)
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - Oil for frying
 
Instructions:
- Prepare the cheese mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheese, Parmesan, flour, bread crumbs, chopped herbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
 - Mix until well combined.
 
 - Shape into balls:
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
 - Place the balls on a tray and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
 
 - Coat the balls:
- Dip each cheese ball into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are well-coated.
 - Roll them in the bread crumbs for an even coating.
 
 - Fry the cheese balls:
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
 - Fry the balls in small batches until golden brown and crispy (about 2-3 minutes per batch).
 - Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
 
 - Serve:
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce (e.g., marinara, ranch, or spicy mayo).
