Apple Pie Biscuits

These warm Apple Pie Biscuits combine fluffy, buttery biscuits with a sweet cinnamon-spiced apple filling. They’re quick to prepare and make a cozy dessert or breakfast treat, especially when served fresh from the oven.
Ingredients
1 can (8-count) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 can (20 oz) apple pie filling
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
Gently flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of apple filling in the center. Bring the edges together and pinch firmly to seal.
Arrange the filled biscuits seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
Brush generously with melted butter and sprinkle the tops with granulated sugar and a little extra cinnamon.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed and golden brown.
Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
Serving Tip
Serve them slightly warm so the biscuit stays soft and the cinnamon-apple center remains deliciously gooey.
